The tire cover is secured using a heavy duty 90 pound rope that is cinched down. Then grommets and zip tie are added for extra security. Our spare tire covers are made from digitally printed scrim vinyl(slight gloss) and black marine grade vinyl(matte material). Marine grade vinyl is the same stuff used to make boat seats. The scrim vinyl is even stronger than the marine grade vinyl. The black marine grade vinyl is used to cover the tread of the tire and the scrim vinyl covers the front. All images are printed using top of the line UV latex inks that actually etch into the scrim vinyl.
